Accolades and Awards
Why do I enter Photography competitions? Well firstly I like to challenge myself and competitions force me to try new things and push me out of my comfort zone. Next it is great for networking and getting recognition from peers and new audiences. It makes me strive for perfection (which I will not ever achieve). I get feedback from peers, judges and reviewers which in turn makes me think about my capturing techniques and editing. I find out what I got right and how I might improve. And of course I can win prizes.
